1. Player scans the court QR code
The player enters the specific court context instantly.
2. If no match is active, they start a new match
They can optionally enter player names and assign the display phone.
3. The phone becomes the public scoreboard
A full-screen score display stays visible on court.
4. The Apple Watch controls the score
Fast, simple, and built for real play.
5. Spectators can view the live score
Other users can scan and open a read-only match viewer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A: The first version is designed to stay light. The display uses a player phone, and scoring is controlled through Apple Watch.
A: Not yet. The first layer is the scoreboard. The larger vision is a smart venue network that can expand into engagement, competition, and digital venue tools over time.
A: A weatherproof QR code sign mounted near the playing area (typically on a fence or wall) so it’s visible when players arrive. No screens required.
A: Put it where the player naturally pauses:
- Gate/entry to the court (best)
- Near the bench / water station
- By the net post (pickleball/tennis) or by the baseline (basketball)
- Height: roughly eye-level, facing the approach path
Goal: “Scan happens before first serve / first check.”
A: Not strictly. Cellular data works for most users. Venue Wi-Fi improves reliability but isn’t required.
